Happy St. Patty’s…a little late.

I subscribe to a wonderful photo editing site – Picnik, and I have been having way too much fun creating cute things with pictures of my kids…
like these pics from St. Patty’s day dinner at Grandma’s house:

As usual, some crazy leprechauns left some hidden chocolate coins for my little leprechauns.
They always have fun hunting for them, but sometimes they get a little too competitive! lol

I Heart Faces - “Angles”

This is my first time entering the photo challenge at iheartfaces, which is a photography blog that I have admired for a very long time! Anyway, here goes…

I thought this slightly older photo of my two babies might be great for their theme of the week – Focusing on Angles!
Thanks for stopping by! Let me know what you think!

Friday Flashback

Easter Sunday, 1985
This is me in my bedroom. Six years old, rockin’ my Cabbage Patch Kids pajamas, holding my new Cabbage Patch doll, with Strawberry Shortcake decorations all around me in every direction. Oh, there was more. You can’t see my bed…or my garbage can, wall hangings…etc, etc. I was, and in some ways still am, a girly girl who loves all things pretty.

So, this leaves me asking this question…
What is this? WHERE is this? And why haven’t I been there yet?!

Friday Flashback

SIX years ago today – March 19th, 2004
My little baby boy…only four months old.
Long before his beautiful eyes turned brown!

{Read it}

Ok so I’m nearing the final pages of this book now…
It’s no secret - I wasn’t a fan of Casey before I read this, and I don’t think my view of her will be changing anytime soon. Except maybe for the worst, depending on what else comes out at her trial - which, by the way, has been postponed AGAIN. I know we are expected to believe that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but I can’t get past how Casey has shown her guilt with her own words & actions, or lack thereof, time and time again. I believe she deserves the harshest punishment possible. Not that it matters what I think.

Anyway, this is a GREAT book. If you are a follower of the Caylee Anthony case, it’s a must read.

Fifty Eight

Happy Birthday to my Daddy
We celebrated his 58th birthday today at our house. I think that cake was pretty delicious, although I didn’t have any. I’m not so much a cake person. We gave him some books about some of his favorite people in the world (besides the Yankees, that is)…John Lennon & Paul McCartney. That made him pretty happy. It doesn’t take much. Mostly just love from his family. He has lots of that!
I love you, Dad!!

All is saved!

I’m so excited – after years of randomly, unexpectedly losing our digital pictures and videos of the kids whenever our computers decided to crash (like on my 29th birthday, of all days!), we finally got an external hard drive and I have now backed up ALL of our pics and videos from the year 2002 on!!! HOW SWEET IS THAT?! We don’t ever have to worry about losing any precious memories again. Unless, of course, the external hard drive should crash for some reason…yeah that’s me, the eternal optimist :) But yes, this little thing, which is not much bigger than my BlackBerry, holds EIGHT YEARS worth of picture and video memories. So far! And it still has room for at least another ten.
Years. Not ten pictures.

Little Loveables

I just wanted to say...these boys are the CUTEST!!!
I wish it was socially acceptable for me to bring them places with me. They're technically my daughter's pets...however........I love them just a little (psychotic) bit.
